Possible FIFA Soccer 09 Cover Revealed
A lot of unofficial FIFA 09 covers keep appearing, but I think I’ve found something that looks pretty legit.
This could be the cover for FIFA Soccer 09, which means it’s the US-version of FIFA Soccer 09.
The cover shows Guillermo Ochoa, Ronaldinoho, who both was on the US-cover last year, and Maurice Edu has replaced Jazy Altidore this year.
Read on to see the cover.

FIFA Soccer 09 Videos
I’ve found two brand new FIFA 09 gameplay videos for you. Unfortunately my Spanish hasn’t improved much since last year, so I can’t really tell you what he is talking about.
I see some comparison between FIFA 08 and FIFA 09, so I think he’s showing the differences between the two versions.
Let me know what you think.

Interview With FIFA 09 Producer David Rutter
Play.tm has interviewed FIFA 09 producer David Rutter. He talks about the future plans of FIFA.
EA Sports hope to have 11 vs 11 ready to the FIFA World Cup in 2010. Sounds like FIFA 2011 could be another milestone in the releases.
He also talks a bit about the new custom team tactics and about eccentric goal keepers.

Interesting FIFA 09 Links
I’ve found several interesting FIFA 09 related links for you.
- Toronto FC’s Edu takes part in FIFA Soccer 09 motion capture in Vancouver. There is a nice video, which shows us some more FIFA 09 gameplay and how the motion capture is done.
- Steven Williamson from Hexus Gaming has written a very interesting article about FIFA through the ages. It’s always interesting to read what Pro Evolution Soccer fans has to say about FIFA. I think he is right about the recent FIFA development. FIFA 07 was propably the best release compared to the previous releases.

FIFA 09 For PC Is Safe
Some time ago EA Sports’ Peter Moore wrote about the challenges of developing games for the PC platform.
He says, that piracy is one of the reasons why EA Sports isn’t releasing Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09, NCAA Football, Nascar and Madden 09 for PC anymore.
It’s only natural to ask, when will FIFA 09 be a console game only?

FIFA Worldwide Community Day - EA Sports Where’s My Invite?
Every year EA Sports invites the FIFA community to Vancouver to show their appreciation of the community’s dedication to the FIFA concept.
Unfortunately I missed the invitations by a few days last year, but the community manager promised me an invitation for this year’s Community Day.
The day is getting closer, but I still haven’t recieved any invitation, so I’m afraid I’m not accepting any questions for this year’s community day (unless of course EA Sports invites me *hint* *hint*)
